Receive all the legal documents needed to get divorced. The documents will be ready to be filed by you when you are ready to proceed with your divorce.
We provide:
- Case Information Sheet
- Petition for Dissolution of Marriage
- Decree of Dissolution
- Certificate of Compliance
- Affidavit for a Decree (with or without the appearance of the parties)
- Separation Agreement & Parenting Plan
You will each need to complete:
- A Sworn Financial Statement- we will send you the self calculating form and answer any question you have.
- Certificate of Compliance-We will provide you with the form for you to sign
- As you are filing for the divorce pro se, or “yourself” without an attorney you will be responsible for filing the documents with the Clerk of Courts in person and paying filing fees.
- Both of you will sign the Petition for Dissolution of Marriage, one of you will file the document with the Clerk of Courts in your County and pay the fee. In Larimer County the fee is $230 . In Weld County the fee to file your divorce petition is $230.
- A couple weeks after you file the Petition you will receive by mail a Case Management Order from the Court. Follow the instructions on the CMO. Now is the time to supply the Court with your notarized completed Sworn Financial Statements, signed Certificate of Compliance and signed Decree.
If you are not able to hire an attorney, we can help you with the service above. We are not acting as your attorney a non-lawyer will be preparing the divorce documents for you based on the information you provide. You will be representing yourself, filing the papers, scheduling and attending the final hearing in court on your own.
